Technology Integration Workshop

On January 10, 2012, the teacher education faculty members of the Department of Educational Communication & Technology went to the National ICT Innovation and Integration Centre (NI3C) for a workshop on integrating technology into their classroom practice and preparing teachers to be able to integrate technology into their classrooms.  The NI3C is part of the Ministry of Education of the Government of Kenya and is supporting teachers at all levels with technology integration.  We have established a sub-committee comprised of KU-SU team members, NI3C staff members and a Ministry of Education staff member to work on developing a plan for further professional development for all departmental faculty members.
