Two KU faculty members coming to SU for one year

Two Kenyatta University faculty members, who are also doctoral students at KU, will be coming to Syracuse University for one year beginning mid August 2011. Michael Muchoki Waititu and Bernard Chomba Mugo have been admitted to the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) program at SU and will complete what USAID calls a “sandwich degree” during their time at SU. Waititu (in physics education) and Mugo (in special education) will take courses, participate in seminars, and be involved in research projects during their year at SU.
