A little more history—first co-sponsored International Conference on Education in July 2009

The first International Conference on Education (ICE) co-sponsored by Kenyatta University and Syracuse University was held on the campus of Kenyatta University, in Nairobi, Kenya, July 8-10, 2009. The second ICE is scheduled for July 20-22, 2011 at Kenyatta University.

About Joanna Masingila

Joanna Masingila is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Syracuse University. She was a Fulbright Scholar to Kenyatta University in 1998, and since that time Syracuse University and Kenyatta University have an institutional linkage.
