Workshop on Active Learning Strategies, Day Two

The strategies covered in Day Two of the workshops were (a) Focused Listing, (b) Note Check, (c) Think-Pair-Share or Write-Pair-Share, and (d) Flipped Classroom. After discussing and having experience with these four strategies, participants planned how to use at least two of the strategies in upcoming lessons.

About Joanna Masingila

Joanna Masingila is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Syracuse University. She was a Fulbright Scholar to Kenyatta University in 1998, and since that time Syracuse University and Kenyatta University have an institutional linkage.
