Presentation at the mEducation Alliance Symposium in Washington, DC

Profs. Alan Foley and Joanna Masingila attended and presented at the Mobile Education Alliance Symposium and Commit Fair in Washington, DC on October 15-16, 2013 on their work with supporting students with visual impairments through the use of mobile devices (e.g., iPad mini with built-in screen reader). Their presentation was one of a handful on the use of mobile technologies as assistive technologies. Intel committed to providing several tablet devices and they hope to get further commitments from other funders.
