Colloquium on “Using Mobile Devices to Support Learning for Students with Visual Impairments in Kenya”

Professors Alan Foley and Joanna Masingila, from Syracuse University, gave a colloquium at Syracuse University through the Africa Initiative on Thursday, October 10, 2013. The talk was titled, “Using Mobile Devices to Support Learning for Students with Visual Impairments in Kenya” and they shared about the work they are doing with students at Kenyatta University and Kibos School for the Visually Impaired.Brown bag

Joanna Masingila is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Syracuse University. She was a Fulbright Scholar to Kenyatta University in 1998, and since that time Syracuse University and Kenyatta University have an institutional linkage.
