3rd International Conference on Education hosted at Kenyatta University

The 3rd International Conference on Education hosted by Kenyatta University and co-sponsored by Syracuse University was held July 10-12, 2013 at the Kenyatta University Conference Center. The conference theme was “Technology, Teaching and Learning: Theory and Practice”. Prof. Alan Foley, from Syracuse University, and Mr. John Temba, Head of ICT, Ministry of Education in Kenya, were the two keynote speakers. The conference had over 100 papers presented and more than 80 participants.

About Joanna Masingila

Joanna Masingila is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Syracuse University. She was a Fulbright Scholar to Kenyatta University in 1998, and since that time Syracuse University and Kenyatta University have an institutional linkage.
