A bit of history

In February 2009, we applied for a $50,000 planning grant from Higher Education for Development for the Africa – U.S. Higher Education Initiative. In October 2009, we found out that we had been awarded a planning grant. We had collaborative planning meetings at Kenyatta University in January 2010 and at Syracuse University in February 2010. We submitted our strategic plan in March 2010 and received word in June 2010 that we had been recommended for two years of funding by the United States Agency for International Development.
