HP Workshops with Preservice Teachers

We had several workshops with 80 preservice STEM teachers prior to their teaching practice (student teaching) in May – July 2011.  We introduced these preservice teachers to some computer-based simulations and other resources that they could use during their teaching practice.  We had a follow-up workshop today with 27 of these preservice teachers to learn about their experiences in attempting to integrate technology into their lessons.  We also introduced some more resources to these preservice teachers (i.e., more computer simulations, HP Virtual Rooms, Skype).  We intend to have a schedule of workshops available for which preservice teachers can sign up.
