Visually Impaired Students Find Independence Through Mobile Devices

One way of disseminating information about this project is through the success stories that Higher Education for Development (HED) and USAID ask us to develop. Here is one of our success stories related to Kenyatta University students with visual impairments finding independence through the use of mobile devices.

About Joanna Masingila

Joanna Masingila is Dean of the School of Education and Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Syracuse University. She was a Fulbright Scholar to Kenyatta University in 1998, and since that time Syracuse University and Kenyatta University have an institutional linkage.
